to Opera Pro Cantanti, Vancouver’s only repertory opera company.

Each year, between November and June, we present three great operas from the 19^th Century repertoire. As a repertory company we present each opera several times throughout our season.  

We perform on Sunday evenings, starting at 7:00 pm, in the Denman Theatre in Vancouver’s West End. Occasionally, we perform on Saturday mornings at the Ridge Theatre on Arbutus at 16th.

Our singers include some of the best voices in Vancouver, singers whose power, technical ability, artistry and expressivity rival those of singers on the great stages. You will be amazed at what you hear and see.

Join us for thrilling opera. The cost is only $20 ($15 for students and seniors). If you love great singing, powerful drama and opera in an intimate setting, a ticket to Opera Pro Cantanti is the best artistic experience Vancouver has to offer.

OPC BREAKFAST CLUB

A group of OPC worthies meets once a week at Checkers in the Best Western Sands Hotel, 1755 Davie Street near Denman. We are there on Fridays between 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. If you love talking about opera (and other things), please join us.  The bacon and eggs and the omelets are good.  Drop in for a late breakfast or early lunch or even a quick cup of coffee. We'd love to see you.
